Two day retreat

This is a closed, invite-only event for digital designers and makers at the Island Valle Falconera near Venice, Italy. The format will be a series of round-table discussions and participatory workshops focused on freelancers, small agencies, and small scale operation.

Travel and accommodation

Guests must arrange their own travel to Venice. Tickets include food on April 9 and 10.

So where to stay? You have two options:

1. Cavallino - The closest hotels to the island are in nearby Cavallino-Treporti.
2. Venice City - Alternatively, find yourself a nice spot in Venice. It's a bit farther away, but it has more to offer than Cavallino. Transportation will be organized to and from Venice on April 9. (Details still pending.)

Schedule

The event will include daytime roundtable discussions on April 9. It will begin on the island and include a series of boat rides. Each segment of the trip will have a different topic. There will be a formal moderator, but attendees are not asked to prepare in advance for the event.

On Sunday morning we continue the discussions in a more compact format, from 12:00 - 14:00. Attendees are welcome to the networking event on Sunday morning for breakfast.
